Henry was given a free trip by Heritage Expeditions to the Subantarctic Islands on the "Birding Down Under Tour" for 18 days by Rodney Russ the founder of the company. Here follows a copy of the newsletter without the pictures.
Henry's Subantarctic Inspiration
"Henry Turner, a 14 year old high school student from Christchurch, travelled on our Birding Down Under voyage in November of last year. Despite his age, Henry is already a well established artist. His voyage to the Subantarctic Islands provided plenty of inspiration for his artwork, and used this inspiration for his solo exhibition, at the Selwyn Gallery in Darfield, Christchurch. The is running until the 27th March. Henry's commitment to conservation, his passion for the islands and his undeniable talent inspires those around him. It's great to see such a committed and passionate young ambassador for the Subantarctic Islands and we wish Henry well with his future endeavours."
